Have you ever gone to the gym and wondered where the heck you should start. Your gym workout can be
complicated if you don't have a clear cut exercise program. Upon entering the gym you should have already gone over your specific lifting program in your head. That way you know exactly what tasks you need to complete. There is no confusion. You have a solid plan of attack as you enter the gym.
The next question is what is the best fitness equipment to use for your weight training workouts. Is it best to use free weight training? What about weight training machines? Dumbells? The secret is, they are all effective depending upon your medical history. I prefer to incorporate a cross training approach for my gym workouts.
However, the bottom line is your body doesn't know the difference between free weight training, or strength
training machines. To your body, it is just resistance. The bottom line is do the movements you enjoy as long as you hit every muscle group. I also recommend changing your weight training routine around from time to time.
You can also determine your gym workout by who you train with. If you are weight training alone, it would be
wise to train on machines so you can take each and every set to momentary muscle failure. It is rather difficult to perform a failing rep on the barbell bench press if you don't have a spotter.
My goal is to provide you with accurate weight training information which, in
turn, will set you up with the ideal
fitness workout for your specific goals.
